Bengaluru Cab Driver Denies Right Turn, Woman’s Reaction Goes Viral – Watch Video
A heated argument between a cab driver and a woman passenger in Bengaluru has gone viral after the driver refused to take a right turn, citing traffic restrictions. The incident, captured on video, was widely shared online and sparked a debate among netizens.
The video, originally shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the page Ghar Ke Kalesh, shows the woman in the back seat arguing with the driver. She can be heard saying, “Maine bola aap right lo aur aap chillane lage” (I just asked you to take a right, and you started shouting). The driver responds, explaining, “Aap wait karo, main aapko location par drop kar dunga. Idhar centre mein right nahi hai” (Wait, I’ll drop you at your location. There’s no right turn here).
Despite the driver’s repeated explanations, the woman continued insisting on taking the right turn. She argued, “Maine bas bola main road par le lo” (I just told you to take the main road), while the driver tried to pacify her.
The viral video has sparked discussions on social media, with many users supporting the driver. One user commented, “The cab driver is right. He was politely explaining, but the woman wasn’t ready to understand. Rapido follows Google Maps, which rarely gives wrong directions.” Another added, “If there’s no right turn allowed, how is it the driver’s fault? People fight over anything these days.”
Some users speculated that the woman might have been anxious, leading to the misunderstanding. “She seems to have some anxiety issues and thought the driver wasn’t following the correct route. The driver handled it well,” one comment read.
As the debate continues, the video remains widely circulated, highlighting the challenges faced by ride-hailing drivers in handling passenger disputes.
